April 26, 2019

Missouri State FFA Convention Day 1 is officially in the books! We had an extremely busy day with students competing and being recognized in several different areas! We are so proud of all our students that are getting recognized for their hard work and dedication throughout this school year!

*Gus Kussman, Matt Rapp, Ben McGill, & Chase Swan competed this afternoon at the soils contest

*Abby Dobbins & Christine Kussmann served as the voting delegates for the business session of the convention

*Harleigh Lewis & Jocelyn Richardson attended leadership workshops

*Dillon Reinitz gave his State Officer reflection and NAILED IT!

*Brunswick FFA was recognized as a Silver Emblem Chapter (1 of 18 chapters that fell into that category)

*Abby Dobbins was recognized on stage for her State Proficiency in Small Animal Production and Care as the winner for Area IV

*Sophie Kussman FOURTH at state in Job Interview! We are so proud of you!

* Schylar Riley and Sophie Kussman received their State FFA Degree during the 4th General Session of the 91st Missouri State FFA Convention. This is the highest degree that can be bestowed on a member by a state association. In Missouri, only the TOP 3% of the ffa membership receive this honor. Students have to meet Leadership and Supervised Agricultural Experience Program requirements. Both of these students have excelled in the FFA Organization and we are so extremely proud of their accomplishments and representing our chapter so well!
