Agriculture Future of America Interviews

April 22, 2020

This evening Chariton County hosted their Agriculture Future of America Interviews. Candidates can come from any of the four schools located in Chariton. To be eligible students must be pursuing a bachelors degree in agriculture and have plans to pursue a career in the food and agriculture industry. This is a $3200 dollar scholarship that also includes attendance to the Agriculture Future of America conference for college students held in Kansas City, MO each November. Applicants must submit a written application and interview for the scholarship.

This evening Brunswick had 2 candidates in the running for the scholarship, Abby Dobbins and Chloe Lewellen, both of which we are extremely proud of for their accomplishments in FFA! After review of applications and interviews of candidates, Abby Dobbins was selected as the recipient of the 2020 AFA Scholarship! This scholarship has been available to Chariton County students since 2003, and Abby is the FIRST Brunswick grad to receive the scholarship since then! Congratulations Abby on a job well done!
